What Is Tumescent Liposuction?

Tumescent liposuction or liposculpture is a plastic surgery technique in which excess fat is removed from the body after injecting the target portions with fluid to make them tumescent. Tumescent liposuction is a refined and superior form of regular liposuction or lipoplasty since the cosmetic procedure takes lesser time, causes less bleeding and pain, and yet provides better results.

The Tumescent Liposuction Procedure

The whole process takes two to four hours and is carried out only under local anesthesia.
