Inside Lower Eyelid Procedure
Surgical rejuvenation of the eyelids or Blepharoplasty is a procedure usually performed on otherwise healthy patients who may have excess skin, muscle, and fat around the eyelids. The operation is done to rejuvenate the eyelids and achieves a more youthful appearance.
This approach is used only in the lower eyelid in select patients. Many of these patients may not need skin removed, but only excess fatty tissue. The tissues are separated to obtain access to the fat pockets in the lower eyelid.
The pockets of fat are exposed and a series of surgical instruments are used to remove the fat. The wound is allowed to heal. Sutures may be placed in the wound depending on the surgeon's preference. In select patients it is possible to have extra skin removed with another incision on the outside of the eyelid. Healing time may be up to two weeks.
There may be significant swelling and bruising following the procedure. Sometimes it may take longer to achieve the final results.

Austria Politics Austria is a parliamentarian, federal republic consisting of nine federal states (see list above). The official head of the state is the federal president, who is voted directly by the people every six years. However, his/her function is mainly representative, and the chancellor, appointed by the parlament, runs most of the day-to-day politics. The parliament is voted every four years and consists of two chambers : The Nationalrat (where laws are passed) and the Bundesrat (which basically can reject laws). There are five major parties in Austria: The social democrats (SP?), the Austrian people's party (?VP), the freedom party (FP?) which recently split into two parties (FP? and the alliance for the future of Austria BZ?) and the green party. The current government consists of a coalition of SP? and ?VP.

The authors conclude (taken directly from the article):

Further large randomized controlled trials are clearly needed before these agents can be recommended for routine use in these patients. In the meantime, extracorporeal ultrafiltration could be employed cautiously as an adjunct therapy only in highly selected and hemodynamically stable patients when other less invasive options have been ineffective”.
