Repeat Dispensing for GPs / Community Pharmacies in Wales

The National Pharmacy Association has announced that the Welsh Assembly Government Programme Board have now provided all GP systems suppliers on the GMS Contract with an instruction to remotely ‘enable’ the Repeat Dispensing functionality for their systems in practices in Wales. They have also issued all Local Health Boards with similar advice that this service can now become operational in Wales, subject to observation of local procedures between Local Health Boards, GP practices and Community Pharmacies.
