Hollywood Eyelid Surgery - The Procedure
During the surgery an extra skin, fat and muscle are removed from upper and lower eyelids. The surgery can repair a drooping upper eyelid and a "puffy" lower eyelid, which can make you appear tired or older than you actually are, they can also interrupt with your visual fields. The blog discusses the results of this study together with the NICE technology appraisal of smoking cessation with varenicline, and the MHRA and EMEA safety update of varenicline causing suicidal thoughts and behaviour. The blog concludes that “Healthcare professionals should follow current NICE and MHRA guidance. Varenicline is an option in smoking cessation, but its use should be avoided in patients with underlying mental illness.”
