Concealer: Conceal the wrong for the right look

Cosmetics can do wonders on our face. Not all of us have the perfect look, and we are not game to go through major surgeries that could make us look so. The only option left ahead of us instead is to use the cosmetics to our advantage, to make those quick fixes that will make us feel less conscious and more outgoing.

Concealer in Virginia (VA) - Understanding the concealer

Concealer is one such miracle cosmetic that can make the skin look close to flawless, based on how well one applies it. Concealers are meant to conceal the patches on our face. This fact has of course paved way for a debate of whether the concealer should be applied first or the foundation! The answer is that there is no right and wrong to this question. What suits your skin best is the answer that you can safely assume is right.

Concealer in Virginia (VA) - Not with your hands!

Virginia concealer - News update:
The Canadian Agency for Drugs and Technologies in Health (CADTH) has published a systematic review and economic analysis (Canadian-based) on subcutaneous immunoglobulin (SCIg) and intravenous immunoglobulin (IVIg) for treatment of primary immunodeficiencies (PIDs). Although the use of IVIG for such indications is well established, SCIg is now available and offers a number of potential advantages. The authors therefore sought to compare the clinical and cost-effectiveness of these agents to inform public policy. Systematic review of the literature yielded only one comparative randomised controlled trial; an additional eight comparative observational studies were located. The main findings were: • On the limited evidence available, SCIg and IVIg appear to be similar in terms of most outcome measures • Quality of life (QoL) was higher among SCIg patients. • Hospital-based IVIg was associated with fewer quality-adjusted life-years (QALYs) than home-based IVIg or SCIg (0.648 versus 0.659 and 0.675 respectively) and higher associated costs (C$21,273 versus C$19,433 and C$20,065). The authors conclude that “the comparison between IVIg and SCIg is based on limited clinical and economic information. SCIg may be considered as a reasonable alternative for patients with contraindications to IVIg and poor venous access. The widespread adoption of SCIg may be imprudent, until more information becomes available”. More...

Concealer in Virginia (VA) - Utmost care

Care has to be taken while applying the concealer. Make sure you do not rub it against your face as this may leave your skin in a damaged state. Concealers are to be simply dabbed on the patches and not rubbed against your skin.

While you can be generous with the application of the foundation, concealers are meant to be used sparingly.
