Coventry Buttock Implants - The Plastic Surgery Procedure
This surgical procedure also called gluteoplasty or buttock augmentation. It is design to reshape the size of your buttocks and create more firm and aesthetic appearance. The buttock area is not easily changed by weight reduction or exercise, therefore you may consider this operation to improve the look of your buttock. In general every person who wishes to undergo the operation and is in a good physical condition can do so.

Coventry Buttock Implants - Insertion
During the operation the surgeon inserts silicon implants into your gluteal area. Unlike breast implants those are soft and solid, their shape and size vary according to individual body form and desires.

Coventry Buttock Implants - Implants
There are few kinds of implants: round or oval (also called an anatomic implant). The most common implants are those made of silicon. It comes with smooth or textured surface and they are solid (meaning they rarely spill or rupture). The selection of an implant usually made according to the surgeon's advice and your preference.

Coventry Buttock Implants - Insertion locations
The incision for the implant insertion can be made in several locations: two excisions, either on the superior buttocks or inferior buttock near the posterior thigh, both of those incisions leave a quite visible scar. One excision is made in the sacrum area, it goes from up down and is usually small (4-6 c"m). The only problem is that this incision tends to become infected more often; this can be overcome with antibiotics. The implant can be placed above or below the gluteal muscles. Finally, a liposuction can be added to this procedure to further shape your buttocks.

This procedure is preformed under general anesthesia and usually lasts for one hour, liposuction may add additional half an hour (consult local Coventry surgeon).

Coventry Buttock Implants - Risks
Every procedure has its risks, this one include bleeding, infection, nerve and/or muscle damage and damage to the implants such as spillage of the silicon and buttock asymmetry.

Coventry Buttock Implants - After Surgery
After the surgery you will fell pain and discomfort so you'll be prescribed painkillers. You also have to wear a special bandage for 2-3 weeks to help you buttock to gain their new look. Occasionally you may feel either temperature changes or numbness in the area, this will resolve after a few month. It may take about 3 month for the swelling to resolve and the buttocks to regain their final appearance. You'll be able to go back to full activities after one month. Since the implants are placed far from the bony area you'll have no trouble sitting. Finally, the implants will give you're butt the look like you've been working out for years.

  • Coventry Understand

Heavily bombed by the German Luftwaffe during World War II, Coventry is not the most attractive of cities, much of its pre-war appeal having been replaced by questionable re-building in the post-war period. However, major regeneration projects such as the Stirling Prize shortlisted 'Phoenix Initiative' are beginning to make the city a more attractive place.

Plastic Surgery News...

  • The Health Service Journal’s (HSJ) news reports that the Department of Health (DH) has become the first government department to be issued with a formal practice recommendation by the Information Commissioner after breaching the Freedom of Information (FoI) Act. Following an audit of complaints, the Information Commissioner's Office has told the DH to review the staffing and resource allocated to Freedom of Information requests. The HSJ news story notes that public authorities must conduct internal reviews within 20 working days, or 40 days in exceptional circumstances, but the Department took 90 days in one case and 80 days in two other cases. A press release from the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) notes: "The Department has repeatedly applied blanket exemptions to requested information with the effect, in some instances, of withholding entire documents from release. The Department has also been extending the timescale for consideration of the public interest test, exceeding the limits set out in ICO guidance." Failure to comply with a practice recommendation could result in an enforcement notice. In some cases, this could lead to an adverse comment in a report to Parliament by the commissioner. Further information on the story is available via the links above.

  • For almost 30 years - since the world's first "test-tube" baby was born in July 1978 - the benefits of modern infertility treatments have been largely confined to couples in developed countries. There, we have seen more than 3 million babies born as a result of IVF and, in some countries, as many as 4 per cent of all babies born conceived by modern fertility techniques.
