Buttock Augmentation Procedure


This surgical procedure also called gluteoplasty or buttock augmentation. It is design to reshape the size of your buttocks and create more firm and aesthetic appearance. The buttock area is not easily changed by weight reduction or exercise, therefore you may consider this operation to improve the look of your buttock. In general every person who wishes to undergo the operation and is in a good physical condition can do so.

Buttock augmentation is achieved using fat. The idea is to remove fat from your one body part and inject in into your buttocks. The big advantage of this technique is the fact that there is no rejection since the tissue used is taken from your one body. In addition this method can make your buttock look very natural. The fat is usually taken from areas of the body, which have extra fat, like the flank area, the thigh and the upper and lower buttock. The extra fat, which is removed from the above areas, can further reshape the buttock making it look like you've been through a butt lift. After the fat is removed is undergoes some special processing and then injected to your buttocks using a special cannula, which has a very small diameter therefore leaves minimal scars. The big challenge of the fat grafting is to cause the graft to survive in the new place, this can be achieved by injecting small amount of fat each time into different layers, above and below the butt muscles. This way better blood supply is accomplished and irregularities of the surface is minimized. The graft survival is unpredictable, some of the fat is absorbed causing you to loose the augmentation effect. It is generally believed that what's left after 3 month usually stays forever. After the procedure the buttock area usually don't heart, the pain is generally from the incisions make in the donor area. Those incisions are also very small, the same ones used for liposuction.

Every procedure has its risks, the risks for this one is minimal. The main risk of the procedure is fat absorption, occurring in approximately one-third of the patients. Bleeding, infection and scarring are rare.

You'll be able to go back to work after 3-5 days, but you'll have to wear special garment for 3-4 weeks. It may take up to one month until you feel normal, some swelling may appear, which will usually disappear after a couple of month.

    Archeological finds of human toolmaking date back to 700,000 BCE, and the first pottery is found around 8000 BCE. Comb-pattern pottery culture peaked around 3500-2000 BCE.

    Korea's history begins with the founding of Gojoseon (also called Ancient Choson) by the legendary Dangun in 2333 BCE. Archeological and contemporaneous written records of Gojoseon as a kingdom date back to around 7th-4th century BCE. It was followed by the Three Kingdoms of Korea, namely Goguryeo, Baekje, and Silla, which vied for control of the peninsula until unified by Silla in 668. Unified Silla was replaced by the Goryeo (also Koryo) dynasty, from which the modern name "Korea" derives. The Joseon (also Choson) dynasty ruled Korea from 1392 to 1910, one of the longest actively ruling dynasties in world history.

    In the early 20th century, Japan occupied Korea, as a protectorate in 1905 and by annexation in 1910. Despite an independence movement, 35 years of occupation followed, through suppression of resistance, economic exploitation, and a "cultural assimilation" policy.

  • Anticoagulation for thromboprophylaxis after total hip and knee arthroplasty has not been confirmed to diminish all-cause mortality. This systematic review attempted to ascertain if the rates of all-cause mortality and symptomatic PE in patients undergoing total joint arthroplasty differed with currently used thromboprophylaxis protocols. It included all peer-reviewed English language publications published between 1998 to 2007 that included 6-week or 3-month data on the incidence of all-cause mortality and symptomatic, non-fatal PE. Overall 20 studies were identified in: • 15,839 patients receiving low-molecular-weight heparin, ximelagatran, fondaparinux, or rivaroxaban (Group A) • 7193 receiving regional anaesthesia, pneumatic compression, and aspirin (Group B) • 5006 receiving warfarin (Group C) All-cause mortality was higher in Group A (65 of 15,839, 0.41%, p = 0.01 vs. group B) than in Group B (14 of 7193, 0.19%, p = 0.04 vs. group C) or Group C (20 of 5006, 0.40%); no statistically significant difference was seen for group A vs. C. The rate of symptomatic non-fatal PE was higher (p=0.019) in Group A (94 of 15,839, 0.60%]) than in Group B (25 of 7193, 0.35%). However, the relative risks were similar for prophylaxis B vs. C and for A vs. C. The researchers conclude from these findings “we do not define the ideal thromboprophylaxis regime; rather, we show postoperative PE occurs despite the use of Group A anticoagulants and they may lead to higher mortality. It is possible lower doses of Group A anticoagulants, combined with regional anaesthesia and pneumatic compression, could be efficacious. Nevertheless, any potential benefit must be balanced against the risk of bleeding.”
