Breast Lift Procedure
A mastopexy or breast lift is a surgical procedure performed to reshape the breast and return it to a more youthful position. Drooping of the breast may occur after pregnancy as well as aging. Frequently a breast implant may be used in conjunction with a breast lift in order to achieve better results. Depending on the amount of breast lifting that needs to be accomplished, different techniques may be used that involve different incisions. Generally, the more lifting that is required, the larger the incision (and therefore the scar).

Belgium History Belgium became independent from the Netherlands in 1830. It was occupied by Germany during World Wars I and II and has many war graves near the battle zones, most of them are around Ieper (in English archaically rendered as Ypres, with Yperite another name for mustard gas due to intensive use there in WWI). It has prospered in the past half century as a modern, technologically advanced European state and member of NATO and the EU. Tensions between the Dutch-speaking Flemings of the north and the French-speaking Walloons of the south have led in recent years to constitutional amendments granting these regions formal recognition and autonomy.

- The Cancer Research Institute (CRI) has announced that it has brought together the Cancer Vaccine Consortium, a program of the Sabin Vaccine Institute, and the Cancer Vaccine Collaborative, a program of the Cancer Research Institute (CRI) and the Ludwig Institute for Cancer Research (LICR), to form the leading initiative on cancer vaccines.
- The UK Resuscitation Council has issued guidelines for healthcare workers on the emergency treatment of anaphylactic reactions. The guideline, which replaces the previous guidance from 2005, provides an updated consensus about the recognition and treatment of anaphylactic reactions, and a greater focus on the treatments that a patient having an anaphylactic reaction should receive. There is less emphasis on specifying treatments according to which specific groups of healthcare providers should give them. The working group notes that “there are no RCTs in humans providing unequivocal evidence for the treatment of anaphylactic reactions; moreover, such evidence is unlikely to be forthcoming in the near future. Nonetheless, there is a wealth of experience and systematic reviews of the limited evidence that can be used as a resource.”
