Malaysia Breast Augmentation - The Plastic Surgery Procedure

The plastic surgery operation is usually done when the breast reaches its final size after puberty (ages 17-18). Except for cases when there is congenital breast hypoplasia or breast asymmetry in which it can be done earlier (local regulations in Malaysia may be applicable).

Malaysia breast augmentation - the implants
There are three possible areas for the insertion of an implant for augmentation. The lower fold of the breast is the most common site. It allows full excess and lives a hidden scar. The second site is through the areola. This incision gives the best esthetic results but it is also the only one that goes through the breast tissue therefore the risk of infection and sensation loss is higher. The third one is through the armpits. Some plasit surgeons prefer it because the scar is almost invisible (except for those women who like to wear open close with no sleeves(. The disadvantage of this incision is a slight asymmetry of the breast. The decision usually made individually with each woman and the plastic surgeon (consult local Malaysia surgeons).

The augmentation implant can be inserted above or below the chest muscles. The below position considered to be more preferable by most Malaysia surgeons. There is less chance of feeling the implant, less chance of developing irregular folds or bumps on the surface of the breast and the implant is less likely to drop. This kind of plastic surgery technique is suitable for women with relatively little extra skin and less fallen breasts.

Most of the implants are made of silicon, and since the FDA determined that they safe for use they are being widely used by most plastic surgeons in Malaysia.

Malaysia breast augmentation - shape and size
The augmentation implants come in two shapes: round and pear shape also called "anatomic implants" because their shape resembles the natural contour of the breast. They are more expensive and require larger excision during the breast augmentation plastic surgery procedure.

The size of an implant usually depends on the woman size and proportions, the average size is 300cc. It is believed that smaller implants have lower complications.

Malaysia breast augmentation - after the plastic surgery
After the augmentation plastic surgery you'll be wearing a sports bra or a bandage. You'll continue wearing them at all times day and night for about a month. You'll be able to take a shower 24 hours after the plastic surgery. The most optimal results usually seen 3 month after the surgery. Several things can complicate this plastic surgery procedure; those are rare complications, which you should be aware off. Bleeding around the area of the implant, infection, disturbances of sensation and touch around the nipples, silicon leak, rejection off an implant and some degree of irregularity on the surface of an implant.

  • Malaysia National parks

There are various beautiful national parks in Malaysia. There are many different types of expeditions available, ranging from those where you hardly lose sight of the hotel to those were you are fully immersed in the jungle with only the guide and yourself if you are willing to pay the money! Tours vary from about 4 days to 2 weeks or more. It is very unlikely in most of the national parks for you to see a tiger or an elephant, this is only really likely if you are going to be staying for longer than a few days, i.e. for a couple of weeks at least. One of the most common forms of wildlife that you will encounter in the jungle however are definitely leeches! In the rainforest it is very very humid but actually it is not incredibly hot. This is because of the large amount of shade afforded by the canopy created by the interlocking trees. Shop around for deals of getting into the jungle and make your decision based on what type of person you are. If you are going to enjoy a lot of hiking without seeing any other people for days or even weeks then you can have that choice, alternatively you can have a much more 'packaged' tour in which you will probably stay in a very built up tourist town which has probably just grown out of the demand for people wanting to stay in the jungle.

  • Malaysia Get in

Most Western nationalities can enter Malaysia without a visa, and are normally issued 30, 60, or 90 day entry permit stamps. Some nationalities that are not eligible to enter without a visa can get a tourist visa on arrival; other nationalities must apply for a visa in advance. Most notably, holders of Israeli or Serbia-Montenegro passports are not allowed to visit Malaysia without separate, prior approval from the Home Ministry (a fairly routine but bureaucratic process). See the Immigration Department of Malaysia website for the current scoop.

  • ADVENTRX Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Amex: ANX), announced that data from preclinical studies of ANX-201, the Company's broad spectrum antiviral product candidate, has been accepted for presentation at the Keystone Symposia HIV Pathogenesis Conference, which takes place March 27-April 1, 2008 in Banff, Alberta.

  • An editorial published in the British Medical Journal discusses follow up care for patients with breast cancer and suggests that NICE guidelines on follow-up care should be revised. The authors state that current NICE guidance suggest that “routine surveillance for metastatic disease is not recommended because data from randomised studies have shown no improvement in outcomes for patients who undergo intensive programmes to detect and treat asymptomatic metastatic disease.” The guidelines suggest that the aims of follow-up care, to detect and treat local recurrence or provide support can be met by two to three years of follow-up, and they conclude that routine long term follow-up is ineffective and unwarranted. The authors discuss recurrence rates and long-term needs of patients with breast cancer and conclude that patients’ needs vary, so follow-up programmes for patients with breast cancer need to be evidence based, flexible, and tailored to their lifelong needs.
