Atlanta Breast Augmentation - The plastic surgery procedure
The operation is usually done when the breast reaches its final size after puberty (ages 17-18). Except for cases when there is congenital breast hypoplasia or breast asymmetry in which it can be done earlier.
Atlanta breast augmentation - The implants
There are three possible sites for the insertion of an implant. The lower fold of the breast is the most common site. It allows full excess and lives a hidden scar. The second site is through the areola. This incision gives the best esthetic results but it is also the only one that goes through the breast tissue therefore the risk of infection and sensation loss is higher. The third one is through the armpits. Some surgeons prefer it because the scar is almost invisible (except for those women who like to wear open close with no sleeves(. The disadvantage of this incision is a slight asymmetry of the breast. The decision usually made individually with each woman and the surgeon.
Atlanta breast augmentation - Insertion locations
The implant can be inserted above or below the chest muscles. The below position considered to be more preferable by most surgeons. There is less chance of feeling the implant, less chance of developing irregular folds or bumps on the surface of the breast and the implant is less likely to drop. This kind of technique is suitable for women with relatively little extra skin and less fallen breasts.
Most of the implants are made of silicon, and since the FDA determined that they safe for use they are being widely used by most Atlanta surgeons.
Atlanta breast augmentation - Shape and Size
The implants come in two shapes: round and pear shape also called "anatomic implants" because their shape resembles the natural contour of the breast. They are more expensive and require larger excision.
The size of an implant usually depends on the woman size and proportions, the average size is 300cc. It is believed that smaller implants have lower complications.
Atlanta - breast augmentation - After The Plastic Surgery
After the surgery you'll be wearing a sports bra or a bandage. You'll continue wearing them at all times day and night for about a month. You'll be able to take a shower 24 hours after the surgery. The most optimal results usually seen 3 month after the surgery. Several things can complicate this procedure; those are rare complications, which you should be aware off. Bleeding around the area of the implant, infection, disturbances of sensation and touch around the nipples, silicon leak, rejection off an implant and some degree of irregularity on the surface of an implant.

Atlanta History Atlanta was originally founded as Terminus in 1836, the name reflecting its function as a railway terminus, and renamed Atlanta in 1847. Atlanta remains a key junction point of the US rail system, with several lines connecting in a complex of junctions within the downtown area.
During the American Civil War, the city became the target of a major Union invasion in the American Civil War as part of Union General William T. Sherman's March to the Sea. Union forces entered Atlanta on September 2nd, 1864 and Sherman ordered Atlanta burned to the ground on November 11 in preparation for his march south. As a consequence almost all of buildings in Atlanta date from after 1864.
In the late 20th century, Atlanta has grown to be a major commercial center and is the home of several major enterprises, including Delta Airlines, Coca-Cola, Home Depot, UPS and CNN. At the same time, Atlanta became one of the major centers of the American civil rights movement. Martin Luther King was born in the city, and his boyhood home on Auburn Avenue in the Sweet Auburn district is preserved by the National Park Service as a National Historic Site; his final resting place is in the tomb at the center of the reflecting pool at The King Center.
Atlanta By transit Atlanta is served by MARTA (Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority), +1 404 848-4711, [2], which operates both rapid rail and bus networks in the city of Atlanta and the counties of Fulton and Dekalb.
For out-of-town visitors, the MARTA is a convenient way to travel to and from the airport from downtown or midtown, or to travel between downtown and midtown. Those who want to travel out of those areas or at night, however, may be better served by taking taxis or renting a car, as the city often becomes empty at nighttime or in other areas, and travel may feel unsafe to those who do not know the city.
The rail network comprises two principal lines making up a cross. The north-south line runs from a southern terminus at Hartsfield airport through downtown and midtown Atlanta, before splitting into two branches serving terminals in north metro Atlanta at North Springs and Doraville respectively. The east-west line runs from an western terminal at Hamilton E. Holmes, via an interchange with the north-south line at Five Points station in downtown Atlanta, to an eastern terminal at Indian Creek. Trains run on all lines every 10 minutes during peak periods, reducing to every 20 minutes on Sundays.

- This feature article in the BMJ examines the debate over the electronic medium through which patients will view their electronic health records. The divide is basically about whether records are best stored on smart cards or similar computer memory devices carried by patients, or inspected online through the internet or dedicated kiosks. The author discusses the systems in place in the US, France, Spain and Bulgaria, and examines the arguments put forward for the card and web systems. He predicts that “patients will adopt a mix of all access technologies— including exercising their right to opt out of a shared NHS record entirely—according to their health circumstances and lifestyles. One certainty is that the medical profession needs to be prepared for a rise in the proportion of patients asking to see their records.”
