procedure can help you to dramatically improve your body appearance. It is usually the next step after excessive weight reduction or bariatric surgery. When you loose weight quickly your skin cannot return to the new size as quickly resulting in extra skin is areas such as the abdomen, upper arms, thighs and breasts. Sometimes your skin is not elastic enough due to aging process, which can lead to permanent skin flaps. It can also be done to repair the effects of childbearing and aging.

Thailand Body Contouring - Operation
The extra skin can cause hygiene problems, avoiding cloth with short sleeves and low self-esteem. Body contouring is a series of plastic surgery operations, which can be divided into two groups, lower body lift and upper body lift. The lower body lift deals with your abdomen thighs and buttocks. Upper body lift is complementary to the lower body lift and it deals with breast and upper arms.

Thailand Body Contouring - Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidates for the surgery are people in good general health who are unsatisfied with their body appearance.

Thailand Body Contouring - Operation Process
During the surgery usually the abdomen is treated first, because it is the area with the most excess of skin and fat. A horizontal incision is made above the pubic area, through which the extra fat is removed and the muscles are tightened. In some cases liposuction is performed to remove extra fat. Thighs and butt are treated by the same principle. The operation lasts from 4-7 hours and performed under general anesthesia. Sometimes additional procedures are done during the same operation; those include breast lift, arm lift or inner thigh lift. Arm lift is done by placing an incision from the armpit to the elbow and by removing extra fat and skin. The excess fat from the inner thigh is removed by liposuction, the incision usually made between the groin and the upper thigh.

Thailand Body Contouring - Risks
Every procedure has its ricks. The most common complication of body lift is seroma formation. Other complications such as bleeding, infection or blood clots are relatively rare. The scars never completely disappear, but they fade with time and change their size. This can take several months until the scars take their final appearance.

Thailand Body Contouring - Healing
This is a serious plastic surgery procedure, which takes some time to heal. Many people require 4-6 weeks before returning to their daily activities. You shouldn't exercise or lift heavy weight 6-8 weeks. The swelling usually completely disappears after 3 month. It is important to wear special garments to assure proper healing.

  • Thailand History

A unified Thai kingdom was established in the mid-14th century. Known as Siam until 1939, Thailand is the only South-East Asian country never to have been taken over by a European power, and fiercely proud of the fact. A bloodless revolution in 1932 led to a constitutional monarchy. In alliance with Japan during World War II, Thailand became a US ally following the conflict. After a string of military dictatorships and quickly toppled civilian presidents, Thailand finally stabilized into a fair approximation of a democracy and the economy, hobbled by the 1997 Asian economic crisis, is booming once again. Above it all presides the King Bhumibol Adulyadej (Rama IX), the world's longest-reigning monarch and a deeply loved and respected figure of near-mythic proportions.

In September 2006, a swift and bloodless military coup endorsed by the King overthrew the previous democratically elected but widely criticized government, promising elections in late 2007. Although martial law still applies and political gatherings are restricted, there has been no violence, no curfews are in effect, there is no longer any significant military presence in public places, and all services are functioning normally.

  • Analysis of epidemiological data indicates that regular use of NSAIDs modestly reduces risk of breast cancer; the clinical application of this, however, is uncertain. There is much epidemiological evidence that NSAIDs are associated with decreased risk for several cancers, and there are known to be abnormalities in cyclo-oxygenase (COX) and in prostaglandin synthesis in breast cancer amongst others. The authors of this review aimed to review and assess the epidemiological evidence on the effect of these drugs on breast cancer risk. They reviewed a range of existing meta-analyses, cohort, and case-control studies. Most studies indicated a protective effect, although the evidence is inconsistent: some studies have limited the effect to aspirin, and one large study showed an increase in risk associated with use of high-does NSAIDs but a reduction with low-dose aspirin. There is some evidence that NSAID use is associated with reduced progression of diagnosed breast cancer, and may delay or prevent metastatic disease. Overall, they conclude that regular use of NSAID may reduce breast cancer risk by around 20%, although some evidence links this only to use of aspirin. Much more information is needed before these drugs could be advocated for prophylaxis, however. It is possible that there may be greater promise in established cancer as an adjunct to endocrine therapy, and a trial of celecoxib in this situation is currently in progress.

  • Aggressively lowering cholesterol and blood pressure levels below current targets in adults with type 2 diabetes may help to prevent -- and possibly reverse -- hardening of the arteries, according to new research supported by the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI) of the National Institutes of Health.
