procedure can help you to dramatically improve your body appearance. It is usually the next step after excessive weight reduction or bariatric surgery. When you loose weight quickly your skin cannot return to the new size as quickly resulting in extra skin is areas such as the abdomen, upper arms, thighs and breasts. Sometimes your skin is not elastic enough due to aging process, which can lead to permanent skin flaps. It can also be done to repair the effects of childbearing and aging.
AK Body Contouring - Operation
The extra skin can cause hygiene problems, avoiding cloth with short sleeves and low self-esteem. Body contouring is a series of plastic surgery operations, which can be divided into two groups, lower body lift and upper body lift. The lower body lift deals with your abdomen thighs and buttocks. Upper body lift is complementary to the lower body lift and it deals with breast and upper arms.
AK Body Contouring - Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidates for the surgery are people in good general health who are unsatisfied with their body appearance.
AK Body Contouring - Operation Process
During the surgery usually the abdomen is treated first, because it is the area with the most excess of skin and fat. A horizontal incision is made above the pubic area, through which the extra fat is removed and the muscles are tightened. In some cases liposuction is performed to remove extra fat. Thighs and butt are treated by the same principle. The operation lasts from 4-7 hours and performed under general anesthesia. Sometimes additional procedures are done during the same operation; those include breast lift, arm lift or inner thigh lift. Arm lift is done by placing an incision from the armpit to the elbow and by removing extra fat and skin. The excess fat from the inner thigh is removed by liposuction, the incision usually made between the groin and the upper thigh.
AK Body Contouring - Risks
Every procedure has its ricks. The most common complication of body lift is seroma formation. Other complications such as bleeding, infection or blood clots are relatively rare. The scars never completely disappear, but they fade with time and change their size. This can take several months until the scars take their final appearance.
AK Body Contouring - Healing
This is a serious plastic surgery procedure, which takes some time to heal. Many people require 4-6 weeks before returning to their daily activities. You shouldn't exercise or lift heavy weight 6-8 weeks. The swelling usually completely disappears after 3 month. It is important to wear special garments to assure proper healing.

Alaska By train The Alaska Railroad [6] runs from Seward through Anchorage, Denali, and Fairbanks to North Pole, with spurs to Whittier and Palmer. The railroad is famous for its summertime passenger services but also plays a vital part in moving Alaska's natural resources, such as coal and gravel, to ports in Anchorage, Whittier and Seward. The Alaska Railroad is the only remaining railroad in North America to use cabooses on its freight trains. The route between Talkeetna and Hurricane (between Talkeetna and Denali) features the last remaining flag stop train service in North America. A stretch of the track along an area inaccessible by road serves as the only transportation to cabins in the area. Residents board the train in Talkeetna and tell the conductor where they want to get off. When they want to come to town, they wait by the side of the tracks and "flag" the train, giving it its name.
Alaska By boat The Alaska Marine Highway System [2] operates a ferry service from Bellingham, Washington up the beautiful Inside Passage to Haines. Plan your travel early as this service tends to fill up fast. A connecting ferry can take you to Whittier, from which the Alaska Railroad [3] connects to Anchorage. Some private companies operate shuttle vans between Whittier and Anchorage [4] as well.
Various cruise lines sail up the Inside Passage as well, typically ending in Seward or Whittier (they usually provide transportation to Anchorage and may even include tours or your return air travel out of the state).

- According to the results of a Cochrane review, although there is no evidence to support the routine use of systemic antibiotics to promote healing of a venous leg ulcer, but lack of reliable evidence implies that it is not possible to recommend discontinuation of treatment with systemic antibiotics.
Researchers evaluated data from trials that had investigated the effects of systemic antibiotics, and topical antibiotics and antiseptics on the healing of venous ulcers: Twenty two trials were identified of different antibiotics and antiseptics, including systemic antibiotics (5 trials). The remainder were topical preparations: cadexomer iodine (10 trials); povidone iodine (2 trials); peroxide-based preparations (3 trials); ethacridine lactate (1 trial); and mupirocin (1 trial).
The researchers presented results of the various interventions, including various permutations of the interventions, including comparisons between several antibiotics, comparisons between systemic and topical antibiotics etc., in addition to compression.
The researchers also concluded that, in terms of topical preparations, there is some evidence to support the use of cadexomer iodine, and further good quality research is required before definitive conclusions can be made about the effectiveness of systemic antibiotics and topical preparations such as povidone iodine, peroxide-based preparations, ethacridine lactate and mupirocin in healing venous leg ulceration.
