Nose Lift in Ghana (GH): Care to be taken during a Rhinoplasty

Rhinoplasty is a cosmetic procedure where the nose is reconstructed to improve the function or is modified to improve the appearance. It is commonly called in Ghana (GH) as nose job or nose lift. This is a very common face procedure that most people opt for.

Do not take any medication like aspirin or anti inflammatory medicine just before you go in for a nose job. Quit smoking a couple of weeks in advance as smoking may cause complications. After the splint is removed swelling persists. Be patient; it reduces with time. Usually the swelling takes around two weeks to disappear. Nasal spray can be used to clear off dried up blood in the nostrils. Do not blow your nose. The incisions will heal in due course.
