Nose Lift in France (FR): Care to be taken during a Rhinoplasty

Rhinoplasty is a cosmetic procedure where the nose is reconstructed to improve the function or is modified to improve the appearance. It is commonly called in France (FR) as nose job or nose lift. This is a very common face procedure that most people opt for.

Do not take any medication like aspirin or anti inflammatory medicine just before you go in for a nose job. Quit smoking a couple of weeks in advance as smoking may cause complications. This nose surgery involves nasal bridge augmentation. The incisions are made on the inside of the nose and are not visible except for a small incision on the base of the nose. After this plastic surgery in France (FR), the first 24 hours are the most important. Try and find someone who can stay with you and take care of you. They have to stay overnight and look after you. You have to rest you head on multiple pillows for the first few weeks because the head must be in an elevated position. Avoid bending and other strenuous jobs. Try and keep the dressing clean and take care of them. Do not remove them on your own. Due to the surgery there might be some discomfort in breathing, mainly due to the swelling. There is a protective splint applied to the exterior of the nose. Take extreme care of this. No moisture should affect this area. Excess moisture will render the splint useless. After the splint is removed swelling persists. Be patient; it reduces with time. Usually the swelling takes around two weeks to disappear. Nasal spray can be used to clear off dried up blood in the nostrils. Do not blow your nose. The incisions will heal in due course.
