The difference between them is that the Asian double eyelid surgery is done on Asians for correcting weak creases, while blepharoplasty is for solving the eyelid crease problems of Occidental patients due to aging. However, the plastic surgery procedures for both do not differ much except in the actual goals.
In blepharoplasty, the aim of the cosmetic procedure is for the rejuvenation of the upper lid that had deteriorated due to age. In this plastic surgery, the skin and fat that had been weakened, stretched, or poorly positioned are removed. There would not be any reshaping of the existing crease.
