Capsular contracture – The Nightmare associated with Breast Augmentation

One of the most common side effects for people who undergo breast procedures like breast augmentation is capsular contracture. When surgeons in NZ (New Zealand) perform this type plastic surgery, they create a pocket in order to embed the breast implants. Though in most cases, these pockets remain without causing any concerns, in certain other cases, our body form a capsule in this region which is made of living tissues in our body. It is formed due to the unnatural response of our body to foreign objects. This is the step taken by the immune system to ward off the effect of the foreign body in our body. When the capsule formed by the tissues begins to tighten, it tends to squeeze the implant which gives rise to capsular contracture.

NZ capsular contracture - News update:
A costing report and costing template have been produced by NICE to provide an implementation tool to estimate the financial impact to the NHS of implementing the patient safety guidance PSG001, technical patient safety solutions for medicines reconciliation on admission of adults to hospital. For England, the tool estimates a total cost of implementation of £12.9 million (£7.7m on additional pharmacists and £5.2m on additional pharmacy technicians). This is approximately equivalent to a cost of £26,000 per 100,000 population (or about 0.4 extra pharmacists and 0.4 extra pharmacy technicians per 100,000 population). The annual cost of a pharmacist has been estimated as being £38,923 based on the midpoint of Agenda for Change grade 7. The annual cost of a pharmacy technician has been estimated as being £26,232 based on the midpoint of Agenda for Change grade 5. In the sensitivity analysis, it is noted that the grade 7 Agenda for Change pay scale varies from £33,601 to £44,642 (including on-costs). The template uses the mid-point of the salary scale, however, varying the annual salary from bottom to top of the scale resulted in total implementation costs ranging from £12.1 to £14.3 million. The final level is termed “Grade IV” where the breast, in addition to looking abnormal, feels hard and is painful to touch.

Where are the Implants placed?
The augmentation implant in NZ(New Zealand) can be inserted above or below the chest muscles. The below position is considered to be more preferable by most surgeons. There is less chance of feeling the implant, less chance of developing irregular folds or bumps on the surface of the breast and the implant is less likely to drop. This kind of plastic surgery technique is suitable for women with relatively little extra skin and less fallen breasts.

New Zealand Understand

NZ was named god's own country and 'paradise of the pacific' as far back as the early 1800s and travellers generally agree it deserves that description.

A common mistake is to allow insufficient time for a visit. (Since it's a long and expensive way to go for most people, many folks end up spending all their time in Australia and then wishing that they had spent an equal or longer time in this very variegated archipelago).

Relax and allow at least three or four weeks for each island!

Lonely Planet named New Zealand the world's top travel destination for the second year running (2003/2004), and it was voted best long-haul travel destination in the 2004 Guardian and Observer’s People’s Choice award. It has won the award in three out of the past four years. At the 2005 Cond? Nast Traveller Awards, readers voted New Zealand as the best holiday destination in the world. New Zealand is also known by the Maori name of Aotearoa, which is usually translated as "(Land of the) long white cloud".
