In the pivotal study, addition of levetiracetam to existing anticonvulsant therapy achieved a significantly greater reduction in the frequency of primary generalised tonic-clonic seizures than addition of placebo. • as adjunctive therapy in the treatment of partial onset seizures with or without secondary generalisation in children from 4 years of age with epilepsy.
