Jordan has its own national carrier - Royal Jordanian Airlines. In addition, Jordan is served by a number of foreign carriers including British Airways, Air France, Lufthansa and Egyptair.

Queen Alia International Airport is the country's main airport. It is 35km south of Amman (on the main route to Aqaba). You should allow 45 minutes to reach the airport from the downtown Amman, approximately 30 minutes from West Amman. Transport into Amman is provided by the Royal Jordanian bus service to the city terminal near the 7th circle, or by taxi (15 JD).

In addition to Queen Alia, Jordan has two other international airports:

Marka International Airport in East Amman (serving routes to nearby Middle Eastern countries, as well as internal flights to Aqaba).

There are three possible areas for the insertion of an implant for augmentation. The lower fold of the breast is the most common site. It allows full excess and lives a hidden scar. The second site is through the areola. This incision gives the best esthetic results but it is also the only one that goes through the breast tissue therefore the risk of infection and sensation loss is higher. The third one is through the armpits. Some plasit surgeons prefer it because the scar is almost invisible (except for those women who like to wear open close with no sleeves(. The Department of Health’s (DoH) response to the Public Accounts Committee's report on 'Prescribing costs in primary care' has been published. In the publication, the DoH notes that around a quarter of all expenditure in primary care is on drugs, and both the volume of drugs prescribed and their total cost are increasing. The DoH states that the NHS could save more than £200 million a year, without affecting patient care, by GPs prescribing lower cost but equally effective medicines, and that generic products should be used instead of branded equivalents (however, this is based on data which is over 2 years old). In response to the PAC finding that prescription costs for treatment of some common conditions varies between PCTs, the DoH agrees that Strategic Health Authorities (SHAs) should work with the National Prescribing Centre to spread best practice in prescribing and help those PCTs that have difficulty implementing switching programmes to learn from PCTs that have successfully done so. In response to the differences in prescribing choices between primary and secondary care, the DoH agrees that SHAs should work with the National Prescribing Centre to promote agreement and consistency of formularies across primary and secondary care, and across PCTs.
